Nice to see you're starting to collect Metallica seriously, I hope you enjoy that as much as you enjoy collecting Iron Maiden.

Thank you for your kind welcome! I think I will enjoy collecting Metallica as much as Iron Maiden stuff indeed. I've been checking this forum for some time now and noticed there are so many great Metallica items out there. Also when I look at Hector's site I see so many great items that I had to start collecting Metallica items seriously as well!
During the last weeks I've already traded some spare Iron Maiden items to Metallica items already. Also I can probably trade my Anthrax promo CD collection to (regular) Metallica CD's as well. So I'm making a start!

More about me: I'm a Metallica fan since I was 15. I discovered Metallica when a friend taped me the first five albums. My first Metallica record was Master Of Puppets, just to hear The Thing That Should Not Be, as the tapes I mentioned before didn't include this song.
Although I bought one or two singles in the late 90's / early 00's it wasn't until 2005 when I began collecting Metallica items seriously.
